Emily Nagoski, PHD & Amelia Nagoski, DMA
Emily’s book Come as You Are was a significant reference point for me entering into the counseling field; as she unpacks sexuality through a feminist lens. She and twin sister, Amelia, co-authored the incredible book Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle which applies the same lens to our emotional well-being.
Sonny J “Lived Experience Educator”
Sonny J shares a powerful and compelling perspective around the neurodivergence and has created several resources to support their community including The Neurodivergent Friendly Workbook of DBT Skills and the Neurodiversity Smorgasbord.
Meggan Watterson
Meggan’s book Mary Magdalene Revealed is a significant reference point for me in my understanding of healing religious trauma. She is a feminist theologian with a master of theological studies from Harvard Divinity School and a master of divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University. Her lens is bold, curious, and critical (of toxic systems) in an empowering way.
